Tenant Highlight: Crafting Community and Micro Brews

The Sherman Agency, Inc. Welcomes a New Craft Brewery to Littleton.

In the competitive realm of microbrewing, there’s a multitude of requirements and steps, such as licensing and fermentation, to make an enjoyable beer; however, another important ingredient to incorporate is atmosphere and a sense of community. Situated in the retail center across from Harlow Park in the Bow-Mar Neighborhood occupies our newest tenant, Colorado’s Zymos Brewing. Zymos Brewing aims to build community and bring thoughtfully crafted beer to the Littleton area and plans to open its doors to the community soon.  Located at 5180 S. Lowell Boulevard in Littleton, this craft brewery will feel at home alongside Walter’s Pizzeria, Real Barbers, Lavie Nails and Spa Salon, and more.

Meet the Team | In Their Own Words

If you’ve been in Colorado for any length of time, you’ve probably stumbled across more than one craft brewery. To me, it feels almost as “Colorado” as the mountains or a snowstorm in May. With over 400 breweries in the state, Zymos is joining a long list of places to get a great beer and we’re so excited to be a part of this industry and the community that goes along with it.

I’m Alex, and I own Zymos Brewing along with my three co-founders: James, Tyler, and Jenette. We’ve always loved craft breweries. Wandering into a bustling taproom always gets us energized, and chatting over some brews is a great way to spend a few hours. We’ve met a ton of people, played dozens of games, and discovered endlessly interesting flavors that keep us coming back to our favorite spots all across the state. The state’s microbreweries are what I always thought a bar should be: a gathering place for people to have fun, relax, and build community.

People often ask us why we’re starting a craft brewery, and community is always part of the answer. The other part of the answer is that we’re passionate about making great beer. Our head brewer, James, is an award-winning brewer and GABF finalist. Whether it’s a cold pilsner, a full-bodied stout, or a traditional amber ale we will always strive to make something amazing. With a focus on local ingredients and a constantly rotating and wide-ranging selection of styles, we will have something for almost everyone. We can’t wait to see you in our taproom as part of a new community of craft beer drinkers in Littleton!
